Peugeot has been manufacturing pepper mills and coffee mills since the nineteenth century and the Lion symbol first appeared in 1850. The Lion symbolises the qualities of Peugeot tools and utensils: the strength of the teeth, the flexibility of the blades and the cutting speed. The Peugeot mill – used in many of the world’s greatest restaurants - has retained these qualities and, to this day, remains the benchmark in its field. Peugeot has since gone on to extend its range to include not only a huge selection of mills but also many items of barware.
